There are two basic types of heat pumps. Geothermal heat pumps extract heat from underground and air-source heat pumps can draw heat out of exterior air to heat your home.

- More efficient than a traditional furnace

- More affordable

- No excavation required

- Air-to-air and air-to-water options available

The Bad:
